Film, TV, Gaming, and Music (Week 22.10.12)
FILM
* Let's start off with film...a slow week at the box office(Argo took first place), but the interesting Cloud Atlas, starring Tom Hanks and a A list Cast, has just been released. I will be reviewing films as well, but let's start off with Anthony Lane's review, via NewYorker.com. He generally has a great interpretation of film, and his review can be found here: Cloud Atlas Review
* Tom Cruise has sued a magazine publisher for 50 Million big ones, for printing that he had abandoned his daughter. He would donate the case winnings to charity. The story can be found here: Tom Cruise Sues. Thanks to Denverpost.com for sharing(via The Associated Press.)
* Arnold to play Conan again. That story is here: The Legend of Conan. Thanks Deadline.com for the Exclusive.
* In James Bonds news, we have found out the co-writer of Skyfall will do a two part story for Bond 24 & 25. Thanks to Hollywoodreporter.com for the story. Empire Online has a good review of they story here: Skyfall co-writer to writer next two Bond Films
GAMING
* The Wii U will be sold at a loss. With Nintendo posting disappointing Third Quarter figures, it looks like this a move to jump start things. The story can be found over at G4, right here: Wii U Sold at a Loss. Thanks Joystiq for originally posting.
MUSIC
* Story of the week in music has to be Lil' Wayne having an apparent second heart attack. TMZ.com has the digs here: Weezy Apparent Second Heart Attack
* Also, how did instruments evolve? Looks like scientists now have some answers. Flutes 60,000 years old? Cool. Check it out here: Evolution of Instruments
