* 100 years later, the effects of the first Armory Show in New York can still be felt across the art world. Aside from the controversial "Nude Descending a Staircase," by Marcel Duchamp, America was introduced to Cubism and Cezanne, amongst other greats. Personally, Paul Cezanne embodies the spirit of painting. He struggled for much of his life to perfect his craft. His style is, again in my opinion, the most skilled and flowing among the greats.
