FILM, TV, GAMING, & MUSIC
FILM
* The Hobbit is in hot water over PETA's claim that 27 animals died due to mistreatment. Until actual evidence is submitted, it is anyone's guess. Check out the story here: The Hobbit Producers Reject PETA's Claims of Abuse. Thanks to RollingStone.com/movies
TV
* Networks are losing the battle to gain your attention, for a number of reasons, but the one they are concerned about is the DVR cutting into their business. They are attempting to analyze how to increase ad dollars, but this is a losing battle as TVs become more computer centric. You can see the article detailing the executives last ditch effort to stay a big player in the entertainment arena, right here: The DVR has left Executives Scrambling. Thanks to Alex Ben Block over at HollywoodReporter
GAMING
* Hitman: Absolution is out for the Xbox 360, and all signs point to a major hit. Lots of stealth, lots of secret areas, and looks like alot of fun. Thanks to Adam Rosenberg at G4 for the very in depth review, found here: Hitman; Absolution Review
MUSIC
* Kid Rock has new music coming, and he is returning to his old bad boy, rocker ways. Check out the article here: . Thanks to James Montgomery over at mtv for the story.
